The PWHL is a North American professional women’s ice hockey league currently comprised of 8 teams: 4 from the United States and 4 from Canada. Beginning play in 2024, the PWHL gained national attention with its “PWHL Takeover Tour”, a series of neutral-site regular-season games played in various cities that allowed the league to provide more fans with access to live action and build excitement in new markets.
